World War One Casualties in Milton Parish

World War One had a devastating impact on the people of Milton Parish as it did for the rest of the country and abroad. There were 83 men of Milton Parish who lost their lives in the war. In a close knit, rural largely farming community these men were mourned not only by their families but by those they went to school with, by sports team mates and work colleagues.

The below map shows the approximate home location of the 83 men of Milton Parish who lost their lives serving in the armed forces in World War One. The number on the dot refers to the number of the casualty on the spreadsheet below the map.

Details of the 83 Milton Parish World War One casualties showing their connection to the area.
